Three minutes and out. Skip to the hook. Here is your ad break. Please remain seated. Studio only. Controlled environment. Not. This. Show. We stand. We move. We groove. We celebrate the week. Live. The room is the broadcast.
Format Options
Two formats.
One or both.

Attention Disorder runs as a Friday and Sunday residency, or as a Sunday-only show. Either format works. The Sunday show is the anchor — Friday is the warm-up that dials the room and builds the week.

FRI
Option — Friday daytime
Music + One Guest
Minimum 3–4 hours
End-of-week energy Music and one in-room guest. Luke on the decks. One wireless mic. Standing format. The camera captures the room as it is — real people, real energy, end of the working week. Low production overhead. High broadcast value. Serves as format rehearsal before Sunday and builds a separate Friday audience.

Works as a standalone music-only broadcast if no guest is confirmed. The DJ library — 50,000 digital tracks and 4,000–5,000 vinyl — gives every Friday set a distinct identity.

The Full Show
Minimum 4 hours · no fixed end
The hinge of the week Full Attention Disorder format. Minimum 4 guests — 2 in-room, 2 via global stream. Three DJ sets. Three audience roll calls. Top 20 Auckland Memories segment with Manuel Bundy. Global progressive music segment. Remote stream guests from London, Paris, New York, Croatia, Tulum confirmed 48hrs prior via Cleanfeed.

Sunday morning crowd — not boozed, engaged, present. The ambient energy of wherever the show is playing is part of the broadcast. That authenticity is the point.

Roll call protocol

Producer monitors Twitch chat and X on a dedicated screen throughout — never Luke. For each roll call, producer pre-pulls 3–4 best responses and queues for Luke to read live. Roll call 3 is also the NZ On Air eligibility CTA — framed as energy, not a pitch. Three roll calls per show, every ~90 minutes.

Interview Setup
Three ways to bring
a guest into the show.

Every guest type has a defined technical setup. The producer confirms format and tech requirements with each guest 48hrs before air. Nothing is improvised on the day.

Format 1
In-Room Guest
Standing at the mic. In the room. On camera. Guest is physically present. Wireless mic clipped or on a boom stand at standing height. Camera cluster covers both Luke and guest from centre. The ambient room energy — crowd, sound, movement — is part of the broadcast.
Shure SM7dB or wireless Rode PRO on boom stand — standing height
Camera cluster covers position — no separate camera required
Producer briefs guest on format before air — standing, mic position, no time limit
RØDECaster Pro II handles mic channel — APHEX processing applied
Format 2
Remote Stream Guest
Live on screen. Broadcast-quality audio. Zero latency. Guest joins via Cleanfeed — browser-based, studio-quality, no download required. Audio comes into RØDECaster as a clean channel. Video via StreamYard — guest appears in a dedicated frame on screen alongside Luke. Confirmed 48hrs prior. Tech check 30 minutes before air.
Cleanfeed — broadcast-quality audio, free tier, browser link sent to guest
StreamYard — pulls Cleanfeed audio + webcam into OBS as on-screen frame
32" monitor on stand shows remote guest in room — fourth position
Producer runs pre-show tech check — audio levels, video framing, connection test
Markets: London · Paris · New York · Croatia · Tulum · rotating
Format 3
Phone-In / Audio Only
Voice only. Used for unplanned moments or guests without video. Cleanfeed audio-only link. No video frame — guest audio mixed cleanly into the show. Used for impromptu call-ins, live audience reactions from remote locations, or guests who can't commit to video. Lower setup overhead, still broadcast quality.
Cleanfeed audio-only — same quality, no video requirement
Producer brings guest in as a named audio source in OBS
Lower third names the guest — audio only flagged on screen
Works for live audience roll calls from specific locations
Audio signal chain — all guest types
